Biratnagar, July 31
The bodies of those killed in the Dewanganj incident in Sunsari have been removed from Neuro Hospital in Biratnagar.
According to police, the bodies of Om Prakash Mehta and Jai Prakash Mehta were released after their relatives arrived to claim them.
The bodies will be taken to Koshi Hospital for post-mortem examinations. After the autopsies are completed, they will be handed over to the families.
Om Prakash and Jai Prakash Mehta, both residents of Kaptanganj, Ward No. 3 of Dewanganj Rural Municipality, were killed after being shot by police on Sunday night.
The families agreed to receive the bodies after reaching a seven-point agreement with the government earlier on Friday morning.
