Kathmandu, December 12
One person died and eight persons were injured, most of them seriously, in a bus accident in Balephi of the Sindhupalchok district on Saturday night.
The victim has been identified as Raju Tamang, a resident of Balephi rural municipality-6.
The bus (Ba 2 Kha 5614), carrying wedding attendants, had fallen off the road at around 9 pm yesterday. It was carrying guests of the wedding of Santosh Bhujel, a resident of Balephi-5, to Bhumlu of Kavre.
The injured are undergoing treatment at hospitals based in Khadichaur of Sindhupalchok and Dhulikhel of Kavre.
