
Kathmandu, October 6
The Asian Football Confederation President Shaikh Salman bin Ebrahim Al Khalifa will visit Nepal next week, the regional football body informs.
Shaikh Salman is beginning the trip to India, Bhutan and Bangladesh beginning today.
He will begin his tour by visiting the Indian capital of New Delhi, where he will attend Friday’s FIFA U-17 World Cup 2018 India opening ceremony.
In Nepal and Bhutan, he will meet football officials of the countries and discuss further enhancing the AFC’s relationship with both national bodies.
All Nepal Football Association Executive Officer Indraman Tuladhar says he will arrive Nepal on October 10 and stay for next three days.
The AFC President says he is looking forward to his visits, stressing that the tour is part of efforts to maintain communication channels with all member associations in Asia, to identify the challenges they face in developing the game and discuss cooperation to serve the AFC’s Vision and Mission under the One Asia, One Goal sentiment..
