Butwal, December 19
Durga Tiwari, chair of the Rupandehi chapter of the CPN-UML-aligned Youth Association, was injured when a gang shot at him in Khaireni Bazaar, Devdaha municipality, on Monday afternoon.
Police are yet to identify the gang behind the shooting. DSP Bel Bahadur Pandey said two motorcycle-borne individuals had fired at Tiwari and fled the scene. He said police have intensified the search for the shooters.
