Kathmandu, June 26
One person died after being attacked by his own workmates in Bijeshwari, Swayambhu of Kathmandu, on Friday.
Shyam Pariyar, who appears in his late 30s, was murdered by Shambhu BK from Okhaldhunga, Krishna Man Shakya from Kathmandu, and Ram Lama from Kavre. They were arrested in different locations of Kathmandu this morning.
DSP Niranjan Bhatta of the Metropolitan Police Circle, Swayambhu, says all the four had a dispute under the influence of alcohol. During the dispute, the three had attacked Pariyar with a block of cement. “They injured him and left him there on the spot,” Bhatta says, adding Pariyar breathed his last after a while.
“We will seek remand for the suspects and begin a detailed investigation,” he says.
