Biratnagar, October 16

Federal Socialist Forum-Nepal Chairman Upendra Yadav says Prime Minister Sher Bahadur Deuba’s decision to expand the Cabinet upto 64 members is a political crime as the parties had committed to limiting the size of federal Cabinet to 25 persons in the constitution.

Speaking with journalists in Biratnagar today, Yadav said such a move was a political corruption and would make the country bankrupt.

Meanwhile, Yadav said he had not been terrified by the decision of CPN-UML and CPN-Maoist Centres as they were not real communists and they could not outnumber other forces.

Therefore, other political forces including the Nepali Congress and the Rastriya Prajatantra Party should not panic about their alliance, he suggested.

“Congress or communists or RPP, everyone is similar in Nepal. There are different in the outer layer and election symbols only. Therefore, we need not worry.”
