UML urges govt to remove fear of voters

Kathmandu, November 16

The CPN-UML central election mobilisation committee on Thursday has urged the government to remove dilemma and fear among the voters.

The committee, by issuing a press statement, has drawn the attention of the Election Commission as government is violating the election code of conduct.

The committee spokesperson Bishnu Rimal has alerted the EC as ruling parties are violating election the code of conduct in various districts including Kathmandu and Lalitpur.

The publicity materials in these districts were found violating election code of conduct, according to the party.

The committee has also condemned the bomb attacks and anti-election activities witnessed in various parts of the country.
