Nuwakot, December 27
Two persons died in a road accident at Tinpiple of Tarakeshwar municipality-3 of Kathmandu this morning.
The accident took place when a minitruck (Na 2 Ka 338) heading towards Sisdole landfill site, Okharpauwa via Pasanglhamu Highway of Nuwakot carrying garbage fell around 20 metres off the road.
One of the deceased has been identified as minitruck helper Kamal Lama, 30, of Galchhi rural municipality, Dhading, whereas the identity of the mini-truck driver is yet to be ascertained, says Assistant Sub-Inspector Resham Thapa Magar.
Both driver and helper were crushed by the mini-truck and died on the spot in the accident, according to the Metropolitan Police Post, Tinpiple.
