Kathmandu, May 12
The Nepal Tourism Board says it will provide bus services to tourists visiting the Kathmandu Valley on the voting day on Sunday.
The Election Commission has barred public vehicles from plying on the day citing security reasons.
NTB spokesperson Sharad Pradhan says public buses will be hired in cooperation with Nepal Police to carry tourists so as to facilitate their movements.
The buses will operate two-way from the Tribhuvan International Airport to various hotels of Kathmandu and Lalitpur from 5 am to 6 pm. Three routes have been set for the operation.
