Surkhet, February 27
Three people were killed this morning in a tractor accident near Kotkhola of Malarani in Surkhet.
The District Police Office confirmed the death of Phatta Bahadur BK, Shashiram BK and Narayan Khatri of Mehelkuna of Gurvakot-8 in the accident.
A tractor (Bhe 1 Kha 6168) laden with iron rods was heading towards Sahare from Malarani Kharigaira Bazaar when it met with the accident, killing the three including driver on the spot.
The accident occurred as the driver lost control over the vehicle.
Two people injured in the accident are being treated at the Mehelkuna Hospital.
