Kathmandu, June 7
Standard Chartered Bank Nepal recently held a research briefing webinar titled Darkest Before The Dawn on the global economic outlook with a focus on South Asia, particularly on India and Nepal, against the backdrop of the Covid-19 pandemic.
The event was inaugurated by Nepal Rastra Bank Governor Maha Prasad Adhikari whereas around 110 people had attended the discussion.
The participants included the bank’s clients, representatives from the Ministry of Finance, leading economists, heads of various international and national corporate houses, delegates from bilateral and multilateral development organisations, and representatives from other banks.
The bank’s three economists–David Mann, Saurav Anand, and Divya Devesh–had facilitated the sessions.
