SAG football: Nepali men beat Bhutan 4-0

Nepal have beaten Bhutan in the men’s football match played under the 13th South Asian Games at Dasharath Stadium of Kathmandu on Tuesday.

The hosts edged the opponents 4-0 in the one-sided match spectated by around 8,000 fans. For the winning team, the captain Sujal Shrestha scored twice.

Abhishek Rijal and Mikchhen Tamang scored one goal each.

Shrestha had scored the first goal in the fifth minute of the match. He doubled the difference in the 50th minute.

Nepal will play Sri Lanka on Wednesday.
