Since the World Cup will be held in India, Paudel expressed confidence that many Nepalis will come to the stadium to support the team.
“There are many Nepalis in India, and many will travel from Nepal too, the atmosphere in the stadium will be amazing,” he added.
He said that Nepal would perform even better in the World Cup than in the qualifiers.
Both Nepal and Oman have already qualified for the World Cup. With Wednesday’s win, Nepal climbed to the top of the table with 8 points from 4 matches.
