The bodies of 768 people who died in the floods triggered by the Bhotekoshi River in Rasuwa have been recovered.
According to Nepal Police, 768 bodies had been recovered as of 2 pm Sunday.
The highest number of bodies, 264, were recovered in Chitwan. Similarly, 194 were recovered in East Nawalparasi, 100 in West Nawalparasi, 58 in Gorkha, 52 in Nuwakot, 50 in Dhading, 37 in Tanahun and 13 in Rasuwa.
Police said a total of 2,715 injured people, and others have been rescued so far.
Meanwhile, 160 injured people have been discharged from various hospitals in Kathmandu Valley after receiving treatment.
