Kathmandu, December 27
Coordinator of Bibeksheel Sajha Party Rabindra Mishra has requested actor-turned-writer Manisha Koirala to back an ‘alternative’ party.
“You have political blood running through your veins and if you work for an alternative party, it could help change the country,” Mishra wrote in a Facebook post urging Koirala to not join the Nepali Congress if she ever chooses to enter politics.
The two met during the literature festival in Pokhara.
However, he kept quiet on Koirala’s reply to his request. “It was an official talk and I can’t give out details regarding that without her consent,” said Mishra when Onlinekhabar called for queries.
