Kathmandu, June 15
The Ministers of Financial Affairs and Planning of all seven provincial governments will present their respective budget for the upcoming fiscal year on Friday.
According to a constitutional provision, provincial governments must present the budget with the budget every year by June 15.
The budget will be announced based on the principles laid down by the governments’ annual policy and programmes. The provincial governments have already unveiled their annual policy and programmes for the fiscal year 2018/19.
Each province has prioritised different sectors in the budget. The central government has allocated Rs 183.85 billion for the provinces.
