The budget for the upcoming fiscal year has been passed by both houses of the Federal Parliament. The Appropriation Bill, 2083, which was received from the House of Representatives, was endorsed by the National Assembly on Tuesday.
The bill was presented for approval by Finance Minister Dr Swarnim Wagle during the National Assembly meeting and was passed by a majority vote. Earlier, the House of Representatives had also passed the Appropriation Bill. With its endorsement by the National Assembly, the budget has now been approved by both houses of the Federal Parliament.
During the meeting, Finance Minister Dr Wagle also tabled the Financial Bill, 2083.
