Kathmandu, May 11
President Bidya Devi Bhandari has consulted leaders of major political forces before embarking on a visit to Thailand and Sri Lanka.
President Bhandari is heading to two Asian nations on an official visit on Friday.
On the occasion, Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal, Nepali Congress President Sher Bahadur Deuba, CPN-UML Parliamentary Party Deputy Leader Subas Chandra Nembang, Rastriya Prajatantra Party leader Lokendra Bahadur Chand, Deputy Prime Minister and Nepal Democratic Forum Chairman Bijaya Kumar Gachhadar, Federal Socialist Forum-Nepal Chairman Upendra Yadav and Rastriya Janata Party Nepal leader Mahantha Thakur were present.
The leaders had extended best wishes to the President for the visit, according to PM’s Secretariat.
