Warsaw, December 3
President Bidya Devi Bhandari has called on Nepalis outside the country to support Nepal in its journey towards peace and prosperity.
President Bhandari, who was speaking at a programme organised by NRNA Poland and the Nepali Embassy in Germany, urged the non-resident Nepali community transfer capital and technology to Nepal for its development.
Bhandari, who will participate in the formal ceremony of the UNFCC COP24 Climate Change Summit later in the day, underlined the need to expand Nepal-Poland relations to the people’s level. Minister for Forests and Environment Shakti Bahadur Basnet sought support from all in Nepal’s march towards prosperity.
According to NRNA Poland, there are around 9,000 Nepalis living in Poland.
