Jhapa, November 27
A man in Kamal Rural Municipality, Jhapa, has been arrested by the police on charges of killing his father.
Police arrested Ashish Tamang, who has been accused of brutally murdering his father, Bhola Kumar Tamang, 50.
According to DSP Khagendra Rijal from the District Police Office Jhapa, Bhola Kumar died on the spot in the incident that occurred at 6.30 am on Monday.
Ashish allegedly assaulted his father, causing fatal injuries to his head and right leg with a sword. Police nabbed him at a dairy shop where he was attempting to seek refuge. A police team from the Area Police Office, Damak, has been assigned to conduct a thorough investigation into the case.
