Hanoi, May 13
Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli has left for Cambodia after wrapping of his five-day official visit to Vietnam on Monday morning.
Prime Minster had arrived Vietnam on May 9 at the official invitation of Vietnamese Prime Minster Nguyen Xuan Phuc.
During his stay in the country, Prime Minster Oli had addressed the programmes of Vietnam-Nepal Business Forum, Ho Chi Minh Academy of Politics and United Nations Vesak Day.
Meanwhile, Prime Minister Oli said his Vietnam trip was successful.
“This visit was truly successful and beneficial. It has two important aspects: firstly, the official part at the government level and secondly, it was a crucial opportunity to inform global community about Buddha’s teaching and ideals and its relevance in today’s world amidst a gathering of representatives from 112 countries,” he told RSS.
“During the visit, wide discussions were held on different matters with several actors. With this, our diplomatic, economic, cultural, religious and multidimensional relations will further grow and remain cordial. Trade expansion will take place and Nepal’s products will get market space.”
