Kathmandu, April 1
Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli put off all of his engagements scheduled for Monday in his home district Jhapa as he is flying to Bara and Parsa districts of central Terai, informs his secretariat.
Nearly three dozen people have died in a storm in the two districts whereas many physical infrastructures have sustained damages.
Oli’s press coordinator Chetan Adhikari says Oli will board a helicopter from Chandragadhi, Jhapa district headquarters, for Bara this morning so as to take stock of the situation there.
Oli was in Jhapa since Sunday to attend various functions in Jhapa and Morang districts today.
