Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli has called a meeting of former prime ministers at his official residence in Baluwatar to discuss the government’s policy and programme that the government is preparing to issue for the next fiscal year 2018/19.
It is customary that the government consults former prime ministers, experts and stakeholders in order to prepare the annual policy and programme.
A meeting has been scheduled with the former PMs at Baluwatar at 10 am today, according to PM’s press coordinator Chetan Adhikari.
The government is preparing to table the annual policy and programme in Parliament in the third week of May before tabling the annual budget statement.
