Kathmandu, December 27
Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli is undergoing another round of dialysis for his kidney, transplanted 12 years ago, on Friday.
Oli’s last dialysis was held on December 19.
The prime minister has been taken to Manmohan Cardiothoracic Vascular and Transplant Centre in Tribhuvan University Teaching Hospital for a ‘regular checkup’, according to his secretariat.
For the past few weeks, Oli has been undergoing dialysis regularly as his kidney stopped functioning properly. Doctors had also begun consulting about another transplantation, but that has not been decided yet.
