Kathmandu, March 27

Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli is briefing ambassadors and chiefs of international diplomatic missions as well as representatives of bilateral development agencies based in Kathmandu about his government’s foreign policy.

The envoys have been called to attend a meeting at the Prime Minister’s residence in Baluwatar at noon. The Ministry of Foreign Affairs has already informed the diplomats about the meeting, according to PM’s press coordinator Chetan Adhikari.

It has been learned that the PM will ask the missions to expand development cooperation to Nepal as the new government will maintain political stability in the country.

Political and diplomatic analysts have kept their eyes on the meeting as it follows the government’s recent resentment against the report of European Union’s election observation mission.
