Kathmandu, May 5
Two chairpersons of the ruling Nepal Communist Party on Tuesday morning held a meeting to discuss the agenda for the party’s standing committee meeting scheduled for Thursday.
The party secretariat meeting held on Saturday had decided to hold the standing committee meeting Thursday. Before that, another secretariat meeting has been scheduled for Wednesday. Hence, Oli and Dahal met in their efforts to finalise what they will take to the secretariat meeting.
The party has assigned Dahal and its general secretary Bishnu Paudel to formally prepare the agenda. Accordingly, Dahal is busy consulting Oli and other leaders of the party.
