Kathmandu, November 28
Nepali Congress senior leader Bimalendra Nidhi says he is not in the race to become Prime Minister.
Nidhi, who is considered Prime Minister Sher Bahadur Deuba’s key advisor on issues related to Madhesh, made the statement just as Congress leaders Deuba, Ram Chandra Paudel, Arjun Narsingh KC and Prakash Man Singh said they are looking for a term in Baluwatar.
Nidhi had been receiving treatment at Om Hospital for the last few days and had been unable to attend election rallies. At a press conference in Kathmandu on Tuesday, he said that he is recuperating and will soon visit his constituency, Dhanusa-3.
