Kathmandu, March 8

NIVEA, a leading skincare brand of the world, on Monday announced it has partnered with Foodmandu, a pioneer online food delivery service of Nepal, and Daraz, one of the largest online shopping stores in Nepal, to empower women from across the country to achieve their entrepreneurial potential for the occasion of International Women’s Day.

Deriving from the brand’s global ‘Care Beyond Skin’ programme, the partnership focuses on a campaign that aims to celebrate, recognise and support the achievements of women entrepreneurs who own and run restaurants in the Kathmandu valley, according to the company.

The campaign will provide women entrepreneurs with a platform to share their empowering stories while motivating others to walk on a similar path and break the glass ceiling, the company hopes.

“With the help of meaningful narratives and impactful storytelling, the campaign aims to inspire other budding women entrepreneurs to push boundaries.”

Under the campaign, experiences of four women entrepreneurs among many have been presented in an interesting video that will help the viewers understand the lives and challenges faced by women entrepreneurs.

The restaurants featured as a part of the initiative include Anshu’s Homemade Kitchen, China Town, Pizza Connection and Detox Café.
