Kathmandu, March 18
The Nepali Embassy in Australia has requested the Nepali people living in the country to not visit the embassy unless there is immediate work from Thursday onwards. In case they have to be physically present to seek its services, the embassy has requested people to arrive alone.
The Canberra-based embassy appealed so in a statement released on Wednesday as a preventive measure against the novel coronavirus infection.
It has further requested the people to use postal service to get their documents notarised for services including passport renewal, travel documents, non-Nepali resident identification, visa and driving licence.
Anyone, who wishes to reach the office physically, has to first request and confirm the appointment through a phone call. They can visit the office from 10 am to 1 pm.
Meanwhile, the embassy has requested the people in Australia to maintain social quarantine and stay safe.
