Kathmandu, July 13
The Nepali Congress has called a meeting of leaders of the party based in Province 2 to prepare for the third round of elections.
Congress leaders say they want to interact with leaders from Province 2 as the UML improved its performance in the second round of elections.
According to the party, a meeting of the central leaders, MPs, district chiefs and regional heads will convene on July 20.
Sources say the leaders of Province 2 are likely to press the leaders to amend the constitution and increase the number of local bodies in the Terai.
