Kathmandu, November 14
Nepali women have created history by winning the first edition of Asian Volleyball Confederation Asian Senior Women Central Zone Volleyball Championship in Bangladesh.
In a dominant performance, Nepal won the match in straight sets beating the Maldives by a score of 25-13, 25-12 and 25-8.
This is the first time Nepali women have won an international volleyball tournament. Nepal had beaten the Maldives in three sets during their meeting in the group stage as well.
Nepal won the tournament without losing a single game.
