Barcelona, July 17
The government of Nepal hosted an ‘investment summit’ in Madrid of Spain in its bid to motivate Spanish investors come to Nepal.
During the programme organised in Madrid on Monday, Nepal’s acting ambassador to Spain, Harihar Kanta Paudel, requested the Spanish investors to invest in Nepal, citing it was a right destination for them.
On the occasion, Senior divisional engineer of the Investment Board Nepal, Sunil Paudel, informed the investors about investment and trade laws in Nepal.
The embassy says its officials at the event urged the investors to invest in hydropower, agriculture, transport and physical infrastructure sectors.
The embassy had organised a similar event in March also.
Meanwhile, representatives of Investment Board Nepal held a discussion with Madrid Chamber of Commerce on Tuesday.
