Nepal Covid-19 tally: 94 new cases, 71 recoveries, 1 death in 24 hours

Kathmandu, February 24

The Ministry of Health and Population has informed that the country’s Covid-19 tally has reached 273,760 as of Wednesday afternoon.

The ministry says 94 new cases were confirmed in the country in the past 24 hours. Out of these, 47 cases were found in the valley.

In this period, 3,692 swab samples were tested. So far, 2 million and 150,225 people have been tested in the country.

As of today, 1,555 cases are active.

Of the total cases so far, 270,139 people have achieved recovery whereas 2,066 died, according to the ministry. In the past 24 hours, 71 people have been discharged whereas one death has been reported.

Over 50 people are quarantined across the country.
