Nepal Covid-19 tally: 80 new cases, 121 recoveries in 24 hours

Kathmandu, February 21

The Ministry of Health and Population has informed that the country’s Covid-19 tally has reached 273,431 as of Sunday afternoon.

The ministry says 80 new cases were confirmed in the country in the past 24 hours.

In this period, 3,325 swab samples were tested. So far, 2 million and 139,634 people have been tested in the country.

As of today, 1,494 cases are active.

Of the total cases so far, 269,876 people have achieved recovery whereas 2,061 died, according to the ministry. In the past 24 hours, 121 people have been discharged whereas zero deaths have been reported. 

Over 50 people are quarantined across the country.
