Nepal Covid-19 tally: 9,483 cases and 225 deaths in 24 hours

Kathmandu, May 10

The Ministry of Health and Population has informed that the country’s Covid-19 tally has reached 413,111 as of Tuesday afternoon.

The ministry says 9,483 new cases were confirmed in the country in the past 24 hours.

In this period, 20,596 swab samples were tested. So far, 2 million and 672,726 people have been tested in the country.

As of today, 97,008 cases are active.

In the past 24 hours, 5,225 people have achieved recovery whereas 225 deaths have been reported. The death toll number includes those cremated by the Nepal Army in the past week.

Of the total cases so far, 312,019 people have achieved recovery. Likewise, 4,084 died, according to the ministry.

Over 400 are quarantined across the country.
