Kathmandu, November 21
The Ministry of Health and Population has informed that the country’s Covid-19 tally has reached 218,639 as of Saturday afternoon.
The ministry says 1,674 new cases were confirmed in the country in the past 24 hours.
In this period, 8,144 swab samples were tested. So far, 1 million and 652,043 people have been tested in the country.
As of today, 24,009 cases are active currently.
Of the total cases so far, 193,325 people have achieved recovery whereas 1,305 died, according to the ministry. In the past 24 hours, 2,323 people have been discharged whereas seven deaths have been reported.
Over 700 people are quarantined across the country.
