Nepal Covid-19 tally: 142 new cases, 206 recoveries, 1 death in 24 hours

Kathmandu, February 3

The Ministry of Health and Population has informed that the country’s Covid-19 tally has reached 271,431 as of Wednesday afternoon.

The ministry says 142 new cases were confirmed in the country in the past 24 hours.

In this period, 3,597 swab samples were tested. So far, 2 million and 81,695 people have been tested in the country.

As of today, 2,335 cases are active.

Of the total cases so far, 267,065 people have achieved recovery whereas 2,031 died, according to the ministry. In the past 24 hours, 206 people have been discharged whereas one death has been reported. 

Nearly 100 people are quarantined across the country.
