Nepal Covid-19 tally: 112 new cases, 84 recoveries, 1 death in 24 hours

Kathmandu, February 25

The Ministry of Health and Population has informed that the country’s Covid-19 tally has reached 273,872 as of Thursday afternoon.

The ministry says 112 new cases were confirmed in the country in the past 24 hours.

In this period, 3,411 swab samples were tested. So far, 2 million and 153,636 people have been tested in the country.

As of today, 770 cases are active.

Of the total cases so far, 270,223 people have achieved recovery whereas 2,767 died, according to the ministry. In the past 24 hours, 84 people have been discharged whereas one death has been reported. Further 83 deaths were reported by the ministry on Thursday in the same manner 619 deaths were reported on Wednesday.

Over 50 people are quarantined across the country.
