Yet another landslide has blocked the Narayangadh-Muglin road in Chitwan on Friday morning.
The road connecting Kathmandu with the East-West Highway has been blocked at Charkilo, Ichhakamana rural municipality-6 of Chitwan, according to the District Police Office.
Earlier this week, another landslide around the same location had blocked the road. Security personnel had removed the debris to resume one-way transport just yesterday.
DSP Surya Bahadur Thapa of the District Police Office says the landslide is still going on, hence the severity of the incident might be bigger. Likewise, he says the authorities are not sure when the road reopens.
The road gets frequently blocked every monsoon due to different landslides of different magnitude.
