NAC to give 50 per cent discount to senior citizens

Kathmandu, September 18

Passengers older than 70 will now have to pay only 50 per cent of domestic air ticket fare while flying with Nepal Airlines Corporation, effective Wednesday.

The decision was made upon a request from Minister for Culture, Tourism and Civil Aviation Yogesh Bhattarai. who had also suggested that all domestic airlines provide discounts to senior citizens.

“What better way than a government company to lead the way,” stated NAC’s spokesperson Sulekh Mishra.

Similarly, NAC has also stated that it has started taking advanced booking for the Dashain festival. From now on, passengers can pre-book and buy air tickets. NAC plans to use all of its aircraft to provide the best service during the festive period.
