A 14-year-old child has been found stabbed to death in Urlabari of the Morang district in eastern Nepal.

Diyus Shrestha was attending a fair on the bank of the Mawakhola river on the occasion of the Chhath festival when he was attacked, informs SP Shantiraj Koirala of the District Police Office.

Seriously injured in the attack, he was rushed to the Godavari Hospital in Urlabari of Morang, which referred the case to B and C Hospital in Birtamod of Jhapa.

“We suspect there might be some previous case linked to it,” Koirala says, “We also discovered a sharp weapon from his possession.”
