Monsoon disaster death toll rises to 50

Nepal Police says the number of people killed in landslides and floods in various parts of the country since Thursday night has reached 50. Of them, 22 are women and 28 are men.

The police headquarters revealed the data updated on 12 pm on Sunday.

According to the law enforcement body, total 25 persons are injured and they are undergoing treatments at health facilities located in their own or nearby districts.

Other 33 persons are missing. Police and locals have been searching for them.

Nepal Police says its personnel and locals rescued total 1,104 persons from floods and landslides in past three days.
