Rautahat, September 26
A boy died when the flooded Bagmati river in Brahmapuri, Rajdevi municipality-9 of the Rautahat district, on Sunday.
The boy, Abit Ram (10), was among four people who had gone to the river for fishing. They were swimming there when the floowed swept Ram away.
His peer, Chintu Paswan (10), is missing since the incident, informs SP Binod Ghimire, the chief of the District Police Office.
Two others were rescued by the locals.
The victim’s body has been taken to the District Hospital in Gaur for postmortem, according to Ghimire.
