Miss Menuka set to stage from July 29 at Shilpee Theatre

Shilpee Theatre is set to stage a play titled “Miss Menuka: Ek Sambhedanshil Younkarmi, from July 29. It is the Nepali adaptation of the French play “La Putain Respectueuse” (The Respectful Prostitute), written by Jean-Paul Sartre.

The Nepali adaptation has been done by Kalpana Ghimire Nurissa, with direction by Pabitra Khadka.

Shilpee Theatre had previously staged “Anupasthit Teen,” its Nepali adaptation of Sartre’s classic play “No Exit.”

The play will run through August 23, every day (except Tuesdays) at 5:15 pm. There will be an additional show on Saturdays at 1 pm.
