Arghakhanchi, September 1
A nine-year-old girl died whereas three others sustained injuries in a landslide in Adguri, Panini rural municipality-7 of the Arghakhanchi district in Lumbini on Tuesday evening.
The victim has been identified as Jharana Sunar, the daughter of local Jeevlal Sunar, informs the District Police Office.
DSP Ambar Bahadur Thapa says the landslide falling from a point above his house buried the one-storey hut, killing the child on the spot.
Three injured are undergoing treatment at a local health facility. All of them are out of danger.
