Kathmandu, March 10
The Matrika Yadav-led Joint Madheshi National Movement Committee has decided to reschedule its political conference. The committee said it will organise the convention, scheduled earlier for the month of Chaitra, in Baishakh, citing SLC examinations.
The committee meeting held on Wednesday decided to hold the conference from April 30 to May 2. Wednesday’s meeting concluded that protests and political gatherings held in different places had become successful.
It said it will launch Madhesh-centric movements in the near future to bring Madheshi peoples together for the launch of a coordinated movement.
