Kathmandu, April 11
A man has been found dead inside a hotel room at Mitranagar, near Naya Bus Park of Kathmandu, on Saturday night.
DSP Roshan Khadka of the Metropolitan Police Circle, Maharajgunj, says the deceased has been identified as Narayan Bahadur Gharti, a permanent resident of Syangja in Gandaki. Police found a copy of his citizenship certificate in the room.
There were some cuts on one of his knees, it has been learned. The body has been taken to the Tribhuvan University Teaching Hospital for postmortem.
Meanwhile, police have suspected that Gharti might have been murdered. Therefore, they have arrested two, staying at the same hotel, for further investigation.
