Mahottari: 7 girls, together, go missing

Seven girls aged between 10 and 18 have gone missing together in Dharmapur, Bhangaha municipality-8 of the Mahottari district, since Tuesday, inform police.

Asmita Paswan (18), Nagina Paswan (18), Riya Paswan (15), Archana Paswan (15), Jyoti Paswan (13), Ranjana Paswan (10), and Sima Paswan (age unknown) had gone to a local forest to collect fodders for the cattle on Tuesday morning but did not return home until Wednesday morning.

“We have launched a search operation but no information has been obtained so far,” informs the Mahottari District Police Office Chief SP Dinesh Acharya.

Meanwhile, the villagers have felt terrorised as seven children went missing at once.
