Leftist alliance for political stability: Dahal

CPN-Maoist Centre Chairman Pushpa Kamal Dahal says the unified communist party formed after the merger of CPN-UML and CPN-Maoist Centre is essential to establish political stability in the country.

Dahal says a stable government is a must for sustainable development and prosperity.

“We have sought political stability and development,” Dahal said while inaugurating his party office in Chanauli of Chitwan district today, “We want to take the country to a new stage of development and prosperity with a stable government.”

Meanwhile, Dahal suggested various factions of the Nepali Congress become unified in order to strengthen the party and compete with the leftist alliance.

He urged the Congress not to be frightened with the leftist unity.

“The leadership crisis is weakening Congress. Please be unified and it will serve interests of the country as well as your party.”
