The party invited leaders of communist parties from China, India, Vietnam, Laos, North Korea, South Africa, Venezuela, Australia, Bangladesh and Sri Lanka among other countries for a two-day conference in Kathmandu to mark the 200th birth anniversary of Karl Marx.

The two leaders told the inaugural of conference today that Nepal did a new experiment by merging peaceful and armed struggles to fit the country’s needs and social composition, adding they would now lead Nepal towards socialism.

While Oli highlighted the party’s remarkable presence in federal and provincial parliaments and governments, Dahal told delegates that Nepal’s experience could be useful for other parties in learning how people could endorse communism and communist parties.

The conference would conclude tomorrow.
